Sterling Silver & Turquoise vintage flower dangle earrings with feather and African turquoise beads

I have always loved vintage jewelry, but these days people aren’t wearing pins and brooches like they used to. When my mother died at 89, I found myself with a whole box full of brooches, pins and earrings that I just didn’t know what to do with. So, I decided to start repurposing them by making earrings and leather cuff bracelets. I also find a lot of items at estate sales, thrift shops etc. It excites me to breathe new life into these old classics by adding a modern flair. Plus, they are FUN!

These one-of-a-kind earrings are stunning. They are made with vintage sterling silver and turquoise flowers highlighted by a patina washed bronze metal embellishment with African turquoise beads and patina washed bronze metal feathers. The ear wires are bronze metal alloy. This handmade item is the only one as it is made with my mother’s turquoise flowers from 1950s earrings. I can’t make any more identical to these. These hang down about 4 ¼ inches and are lightweight. I strongly suggest that you don’t wear these swimming, in the shower, sleeping or doing sports.
